Mental workload profile and its relationship with presenteeism, absenteeism and job performance among surgeons: The mediating role of occupational fatigue

IntroductionSurgeons are one of the most significant jobs in health care system that plays an important role patients' promotion and their treatment. In current study, effect mental workload on work performance surgeons was tested by considering mediating fatigue this relationship.MethodThis study done analytically 165 working operating rooms hospitals Iran. To determine workload, SURG-TLX method used. The job measured using short version questionnaire provided World Health Organization (WHO-HPQ), accordingly relative presenteeism, absenteeism variables were calculated. Swedish Occupational Fatigue Inventory (SOFI) used to occupational fatigue.
